About

Andrew Clark is an English-born, Canadian singer-songwriter whose life has been shaped by both medicine and music. Born in Derby, in England’s Midlands, Andrew trained as a doctor at Leeds University. Even throughout his medical career, music remained a constant companion — he’s often seen in Facebook videos performing original songs in his scrubs, outside the operating room or while on call.

Writing songs since the age of 17, Andrew’s music has been featured on local, regional, and national radio. He is a past winner of an international songwriting competition in the U.S. and has released five albums to date.

His upcoming Christmas single, “Rockin’ Ebenezer,” appears on Wake Me Up On Christmas Day — a new holiday album featuring legendary guitarists Tommy Emmanuel, Parker Hastings, Muriel Anderson, J.P. Cormier, and Alberto Lombardi, with brass arrangements by the renowned Chops Horns (Rolling Stones, Alicia Keys). The project is produced by Paul Milner (Headstones, Matt Andersen, Keith Richards, Eddy Grant, Larry Norman).

Andrew draws inspiration from artists such as James Taylor, Sting, and Ralph McTell, as well as from his longtime mentor and collaborator Tommy Emmanuel. Classical music also influences his work, enriching his melodies and harmonic textures.

Currently, Andrew is recording new material slated for release in 2026, continuing his pursuit of authentic collaboration and the timeless craft of song.
